Bob Savage serves as Vice President and site leader of the Dell Technologies Cork Campus and Chair of the National Skills Council of Ireland. Bob is a chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineers, he has been with Dell Technologies for 34 years, holding leadership roles in Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Service. Bob spent five years on the board of Enterprise Ireland, focusing on establishing and growing indigenous business in Ireland. He served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in 2016. A Cork Institute of Technology graduate himself, Bob took on the role of Chairperson of CIT’s Governing Body in 2011 and was the Chair of the recently established Munster Technological University January 2020 – July 2020. Bob also Chaired the South West regional action plan for job implementation committee, which successfully supported the acceleration of job growth in the area.
