Natalia Moreno is an economist with a Master's degree in Gender from the National University of Colombia. Applied in the field of feminist economics, she has conducted research on the care economy and gendered tax policies. She was one of the spokespersons for the #MenstruationFreeOfTaxes campaign that succeeded in eliminating VAT on menstrual hygiene products in the country.
She has been a lecturer at the National University of Colombia, worked at DANE in the production of gender-sensitive statistics, was a congressional advisor on the Women's Equity Commission, former Director of the Care System at the District Secretariat for Women in Bogotá, former Manager of the National Care Policy at the Vice-Presidency of the Republic, and is currently the Director of Care at the Ministry of Equality and Equity of Colombia.
