2000 - 2006 - First Assistant to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
2006 - 2008 - Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
2007- 2008 - also the Secretary of the National Security Council.
2008 - 2014 - Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration of the Republic of Armenia.
2014 - 2015 - Executive Director of the “Fund for Development Initiatives of Armenia.”
2016 - Adviser to the Chairman of the same fund.
2016 - Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia.
