The first meeting of the OECD Parliamentary Group on AI took place in Paris and online on 12 June 2026. 

The event provided an important opportunity to reconnect parliamentarians and parliamentary officials working on AI policy across countries and parliamentary assemblies.

Bringing together almost 100 participants from 40 countries, the meeting offered a valuable opportunity for them to exchange views on AI policy and governance. Discussions with OECD experts, along with the OECD data, analysis and recommendations shared, support MPs and parliaments ongoing work on AI-related issues.
