On 6 February 2024, parliamentarians in Ukraine have created a Group of Friends of the OECD.
As the OECD continues working in Ukraine, the Group in the Rada will:
- Strengthen government-Parliament cooperation to improve quality of legislation and ensure sufficient stakeholder consultation
- Enhance Ukraine’s alignment with key OECD and EU standards, including on public integrity, regulatory policy, infrastructure, and tax policy
- Foster opportunities for peer-learning and co-operation through the OECD Global Parliamentary Network, which connects MPs from across the political spectrum and across the world
