Description
Indrani Franchini has experience as an independent director, C-suite executive, chief legal officer and chief compliance officer leading global teams, cross-functional projects and crisis situations in complex, multi-national companies and diverse industries. She currently serves as an independent director and member of the audit and compliance committees for Avanos Medical a medical device company that offers pain management, respiratory and digestive care products and has a $800 million market cap. In addition, Indrani is Chief Compliance Officer at IBM where she oversees risk assessment, management and mitigation efforts across all sectors of the global business. Indrani built a reputation for leading calmly through periods of dynamic change in many different industries over the course of her career including pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and biopharma where she has leveraged her problem-solving and leadership skills in risk and legal management, culture and compliance. Indrani is a seasoned executive with experience leading global teams and is deeply in tune with leading and managing culturally diverse teams. Since 2010, Indrani has served as a board member of the Hispanic Federation where she serves on the finance committee and the development committee. Indrani has been recognized by PODER 25, the South Asian Bar Association, Hispanic Executive, Inside Counsel and Compliance Week for her professional achievements. Indrani is a member of the Princeton Alumni Association and an active alumni mentor of University of Michigan law students.
