Description
Michael Paik is Senior Director & Managing Counsel of Global Compliance at McDonald’s Corporation, where he manages a global team of compliance attorneys and professionals who manage compliance risk for the Golden Arches around the world. Prior to joining McDonald’s, Michael was Regional Compliance Officer for North America at Thyssenkrupp and previously a litigator with the international law firm of Mayer Brown LLP. Prior to law school, Michael was a compliance consultant and internal auditor advising businesses on legal and compliance issues. Michael obtained his law degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and his business degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Michael also has his CCEP-I designation.
