Description

Răzvan BOȘTINARU has been serving as legal adviser within the Crime Prevention Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of Romania since December 2016. He is a member of the Technical Secretariat of the Romanian Anti-Corruption Strategy and, in this capacity, coordinates the monitoring and implementation of integrity measures in areas such as the business environment, public procurement and the protection of cultural heritage. In this role and on anticorruption measures, Răzvan BOȘTINARU is also responsible for the international relations component, ensuring the maintenance of institutional dialogue and the strengthening of cooperation with entities such as the OECD, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, and the United Nations. Răzvan BOȘTINARU has experience with the work of the OECD Working Group on Bribery (WGB) and the implementation of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. He served as the technical expert responsible for preparing Romania’s four WGB evaluations, including the preliminary and consolidated accession evaluations, as well as the Phase I and Phase II evaluations. In addition, he has been actively involved in WGB activities and evaluation processes since 2024.
