Currently serving as the Ministerial Coordinator for Artificial Intelligence at the French Ministry of National Education, Axel Manguy is an armament officer and a data science engineering graduate from ISAE-Supaero. After several years at the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) leading the design and deployment of sovereign generative AI models for national cyberdefense, he now dedicates his technical expertise to the digital transformation of the State. In his current role, he steers the AI component of the national digital strategy for education. He is in charge of federating institutional ecosystems and supporting the ethical, large-scale deployment of artificial intelligence (including LLMs) to empower teachers' pedagogical practices and streamline administrative processes.
