Biography
Carmela Germinario, PhD, is an official at the Italian Ministry of Justice, where she coordinates a staff unit that directly supports the Head of the Department for Judicial Organisation, Personnel and Services in matters of court organisation and reform monitoring.
Her work focuses on the use of data to inform decisions aimed at improving the Italian justice system. She has been actively involved in monitoring reforms under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, particularly those aimed at strengthening court capacity and modernising court organisation.
She also contributes to international cooperation initiatives, including the OECD project on people-centred justice and projects on court management and workforce planning.
