Description

Manan Shah is Vice President of Global Health Equity & Policy Partnerships at Bristol Myers Squibb. He has over 15 years of US and international health policy, equity, advocacy, public affairs, and communications experience. Prior to BMS, Manan was Head of Global Public Affairs for LEO Pharma and held various US, regional and global roles at Biogen and Novo Nordisk including leading public affairs for emerging markets based in Switzerland. Manan is also currently an adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Health at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Schools of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Public & Global Affairs and a Lecturer at Rutgers University’s Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. He has designed and currently teaches numerous courses including Social Determinants of Health, Politics & Public Health, and Issues in Global Health. He serves on the boards of NYBIO and The Brain Donor Project, is a Strategic Advisor for the Rutgers Institute for Corporate Social Innovation, and an Advisor on Health Equity for the Catalytic Impact Foundation. Manan received his MBA from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, and Master of Public Affairs & Politics from Rutgers University, and post-graduate credentials from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. He completed his undergraduate studies at American University.
