Climate Policy Initiative (CPI)
Francisco Macedo is an Associate at the Climate Policy Initiative (CPI). He works exclusively in the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA) program, where he coordinates the Financial Toolbox Action Group and the Leadership for Urban Climate Investment (LUCI), a framework launched at the 2019 UN SG Climate Summit to track progress, raise ambition and promote collaboration between initiatives supporting the development of urban climate projects worldwide. Before joining CPI, Francisco worked in an international organisation, as well as in the private and charity sectors. Francisco holds a double Master’s degree in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management from the University of Copenhagen and the University of Padova, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo.
