Prof. Alexander Lord is the Lever Chair in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Liverpool. He works on the economic effects of urban and environmental planning and has conducted research for a wide range of funders including the Economic and Social Research Council, the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the UK government. He is the director of the Planning Research Institute at Liverpool and is a visiting professor at the Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris.
