Description

Rhonda Smith is a Senior Lecturer in the Economics Department and a Senior Fellow in the Law School, University of Melbourne. She is a former Commissioner with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and was a lay member of the High Court of New Zealand for some years. Currently, Rhonda is a member of the Copyright Tribunal. She has published widely on competition law matters and has provided advice in relation to numerous major competition law cases in Australia and has appeared as an expert witness in a number of cases. She has undertaken numerous projects relating to competition law in Papua New Guinea, as well as providing advice to the government of the Cook Islands.
