Description

Manuel Kreitmeir is Director at the Center for Open Social Innovation (COSI) and Co-Founder of the Digital Social Innovation Lab at the University Mannheim. He worked for the European Commission as the Organizer of the European Social Economy Summit (EUSES), the largest stakeholder event for the EU Social Economy Action Plan with over 6.000 involved stakeholders. As a Consultant for Sustainability and Social Innovation he worked with several multinational corporations like SAP, Microsoft, and Lufthansa, as well as various government institutions including the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de l’Économie sociale et solidaire Luxembourg and the Joint Research Centre at the European Commission. With his Social Startup Ohana he connects coffee and tea farmers from the global south directly with social responsible businesses and as the Chairman of the Social Entrepreneurs Association SocEntBW in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg he champions Public Social Procurement and Buy Social for many years.
