Delegate of the Mayor of Bologna for the Social Economy Plan

Description

Daniela Freddi is currently the delegate of the Mayor of Bologna for the development and adoption of the local Social economy Plan. The objective of the Plan, in the spirit of the European social economy action Plan, is to strengthen the actors of the social economy and their capacity to deliver an inclusive local economic growth. Professionally, she works as socio-economic researcher at Ires Emilia-Romagna in Bologna (Italy), the research centre of CGIL Emilia-Romagna. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Ferrara and a Master of Science (MSc) in Industry and Innovation Analysis from Sussex University (UK). She published in international journals such as Research Policy, International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management and AI&Society. Her main research interests focus on the industrial and regional economy, digitalisation processes and impact on labour conditions. Recently she has also dealt with issues relating to gender differences in organizations and in the labour market.
