Senior Director, Development Impact

Presentation

Lori Leonard has led and managed OPIC’s -- and now the DFC’s -- approach to development impact management through her 20-year tenure at the Agency. In her current capacity of Director of Development Impact, she is leading the transition from OPIC’s prior development impact scorecard to the DFC’s Impact Quotient (“IQ”), a robust development impact framework that incorporates best practices in impact management. Lori Leonard graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a B.A. in International Relations. Prior to graduation, Ms. Leonard spent a summer in Tver, Russia, where she first became interested in working in the international development field, particularly in the Former Soviet Union. Ms. Leonard continued her studies in graduate school at The George Washington University, earning both an M.A. in International Affairs and an M.B.A., with a concentration in International Business and Finance.
