Biography
Rita Alarcão Júdice (born 8 December 1973) is a Portuguese lawyer and former Minister for Justice. She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, Lisbon School (1997). With over 25 years of professional experience, she has built a distinguished career in real estate law.
From 2013 to 2023, she was a Partner at the law firm PLMJ, where she co-headed the Real Estate and Tourism Department. Rita Alarcão Júdice is a member of the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Portugal and an associate of Women in Real Estate (WIRE Portugal).
In the 2024 general elections, she was elected Member of Parliament for Coimbra and subsequently served as Minister for Justice in the XXIV Constitutional Government of Portugal (2 April 2024 – 5 June 2025).
