Getting to the venue

Arriving in Madrid: By Air: 
 Airport: Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) is the primary international gateway to Madrid.  

Transportation from Madrid–Barajas Airport to the Venue: 

1. Taxi: 
Duration: Approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions 
Fare: A flat rate of €30-€35 applies for trips between the airport and Madrid city center.
Details: Official taxis are white with a red stripe and the Madrid City Council coat-of-arms on their doors. 

 2. Metro: 
Route: Take Line 8 (pink) from the airport to 'Nuevos Ministerios' station. 
Transfer to Line 10 (dark blue) towards 'Puerta del Sur' and alight at 'Príncipe Pío' station. From there, it's a short walk to the Royal Collections Gallery. 
Duration: Approximately 45 minutes. 
Fare: Around €5, including a €3 airport supplement.

Participants are requested to confirm their attendance by registering via the link available in this portal. 
Deadline for registration is 10 October 2025. 
 
Participation
Participation at the Roundtable is subject to an invitation from the OECD and the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Parliamentary Relations, Spain. 

Badges  
Delegates may collect their badges at the venue upon arrival.

Please be advised that badges will be issued upon presentation of a valid personal identification: an identity card or passport and a copy of the email confirming your registration for the event.

Visa information

Participants are kindly advised to check visa requirements well in advance.

Do I Need a Visa?
Visa applications must be submitted in person at the nearest Spanish consulate. While nationals of OECD member countries may not require a visa, requirements and processing times can vary. We strongly recommend checking early and taking any necessary action well in advance of your travel.

Letter of Invitation
Registered participants will receive a formal letter of invitation, which may support visa applications if needed. Please note the OECD cannot intervene with consulates on individual cases.
