I am an Energy professional with the Africa Centre for Energy Policy. I am currently the Executive Director at Centre. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, I served as the Programmes Director, Director of Operation and subsequently as the Deputy Executive Director, managing the Research Unit and the Programmes Unit. I have made contributions to the extractive and energy sector governance in Africa with focus on power sector reforms, Corporate Social Responsibility and international Business transaction, Contract Analysis, Stakeholder engagement, localisation and industrial planning, consumer protection advocacy, revenue tracking and Energy Sector reforms within the context of energy transition and environmental sustainability. I have also consulted for the World Bank, UNDP, NRGI, and many research institutions and universities in the resource sector. I was the Chair the Stakeholder Committee of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) between 2017 and 2019, which Advised the MiDA Board on the implementation of Millennium Challenge Compact II. I have delivered presentations at various conferences on the extractive sector governance in Africa. I work with extractive communities in Africa, analysing the communities’ issues relative to the development of extractives’ projects and revenue redistribution. I hold an Msc from the University of Dundee, UK in Energy Studies and BA Hon. in Sociology with Information Studies from the University of Ghana.
