Description
Cathy has been Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) for the Southern Health and Social Care Trust since September 2020, having previously worked for the Education Authority NI as Equality and Diversity Manager for 8 years.
Cathy is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the EDI agenda for the Southern Trust. As part of this role, she leads on the implementation of the Rural Needs Act (NI) (2016).
Cathy holds a Hons Degree in Business Studies; a Master’s in Business Improvement and more recently successfully completed the ILM Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring.
Cathy lives in a small rural village in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland and has first-hand knowledge of the challenges of rural broadband and access to transport services. Cathy is married with two teenage children and enjoys walking her miniature schnauzer in the NI countryside.
