About the Forum
The Forum is one of the primary global annual events on social dialogue. It brought together Global Deal partners, including key policy makers, to emphasise the importance of social dialogue in shaping a just transition towards a sustainable and inclusive economy that generates decent jobs. The Forum also highlighted the role of social dialogue in negotiating a balanced use of non-standard forms of work, such as temporary work, zero hour contracts and own-account platform workers.
On day one, the Forum featured two panel discussions on fair transition and the use of non-standard forms of employment. On day two, the Forum featured three sessions that explored social dialogue-related topics and a special session to present the Global Deal Flagship report.
