Description

Dr Sabeena Mathayas is a Senior Education Specialist with a Doctorate in Education Policy and Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis MN. She brings over 15 years of experience working in higher education, TVET and skill development, and international education systems – designing, implementing, and evaluating learning products, policies, and programs. She is currently Vice-President, Research and Advisory Services at Sambodhi Research and Communications; where she is leading a national capacity building mandate to enhance impact measurement and management competencies within Central and State Administrations. She is also a member on advisory and knowledge councils in industry associations, ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, and FICCI, as well as an impact mentor to early stage social enterprises. She was the senior education specialist at the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) where she led international technical collaborations and standards. She has also worked in the United States as a policy researcher and governance/capacity specialist for interventions ranging from ObamaCare’s MNSure Exchange, the Safe Harbor Law (Anti-Sex Trafficking), Immigration reform, and Charter School Governance.
