Mr. SHEN Xiang
Minister of the Chinese Embassy in France (in charge of economic and commercial Affairs)
Born on 8 December 1968, in Zhejiang Province, China.
In 1990, Mr. SHEN graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University and joined the the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Commerce) of China.
After completing his first diplomatic mission at the Chinese Embassy in Mali in the 1990s, he was appointed Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Congo Brazzaville from 2012 to 2016, then Deputy Director General of the Department of Western Asian and African Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce upon return.
In 2020, Mr. SHEN was appointed Minister of the Chinese Embassy in France in charge of economic and commercial affairs.
