David Müller Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Principal Advisor to the Section of European Union and Foreign Trade, David Müller took over the duties of the senior advisor at the Section of European Union and Foreign Trade during the fall of 2021, after relocating from his previous posting at Czech Consulate General in Toronto. At the same time, he was assigned with duties of being a deputy of acting director general. He´s been working on various trade and international business files across the Ministry of Industry and Trade, including coordination with other governmental bodies and agencies in charge of foreign relations and business. Previously, he was posted in Toronto, being relocated to Canada in 2016. During his tenure as a Trade Commissioner, he assisted Czech businesses and academia in building relations with Canadian counterpart. His previous career at the Ministry of Industry and Trade included several positions, mostly related to international business and trade law, as he served as a Director of European and International Law Department, Deputy at the same Department, as well as the Head of International Law Unit. By training, he holds several Masters, including Law, Economics and International Relations, as well as PhD. in Political Science. He studied in the Czech Republic, Germany and Australia.
