Description
An associated professor and lecturer, manager, and politician. Former Mayor of Prague and member of the European Committee of the Regions. He works at the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and at the Institute of Economics and Management at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague). At the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, he serves as Director General of the Section for Planning, Construction and Investment, overseeing the reform of spatial development planning. He has long been an external advisor to cities and regions in the fields of strategic, regional, and spatial development. Married with three sons.
