Description
Michael Mullan's work at OECD focusses on mobilising public and private finance for climate change adaptation. At OECD, he co-led the development of the Climate Adaptation Investment Framework. Between 2019 and 2021, he went on loan to the Global Centre on Adaptation, where he developed their Programme on Infrastructure and Nature-based Solutions. Prior to joining OECD in 2011, he was an Economic Advisor in the UK Government, leading the economic analysis to underpin the creation of the UK’s first National Adaptation Plan. He holds an undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford and a master’s degree in development economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
