Description
Ed Webber is Deputy Director for International Net Zero Financing & Sector Transitions at the UK’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). He leads teams advancing global clean technology transitions through climate finance, diplomacy, and public-private partnerships. Ed co-chairs the Climate Investment Funds’ Clean Technology Fund Committee, supports the UK’s role on the Green Climate Fund Board and oversees the Breakthrough Agenda Secretariat, the GCPA Finance Mission and the Brazil-UK Hydrogen and Industrial Decarbonisation Country Platforms. He previously held senior roles in EU climate policy and has advised both government and industry on energy and sustainability.
