Description
Arnaud Braud has 20 years' experience in development and sustainable infrastructure financing in more than 30 countries, first with a private consulting firm and then with the World Bank.
He has worked extensively with both public and private sectors and has a long experience with PPPs, private sector financing, and project structuring, mostly for green power projects such as hydropower, solar, wind, and batteries. For instance, he led the World Bank guarantee engagement in the Scaling Solar auctions, the design of an innovative risk mitigation for solar rooftop PPPs in Maldives, and the structuring of a US$500 million guarantee for the RenovAr renewable tenders in Argentina that helped generate several GWs of solar and wind projects. Arnaud was also the Infrastructure Program Leader for energy, transport, and digital for Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, and Guinea.
Currently based in Paris, he works in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Türkiye.
