Green Finance Network Japan (GFNJ) is an informal network that brings together key players on green finance in Japan, from both public and private sectors, and provides a platform for collaborating with international stakeholders. It was established in 2018 by Founders Mr. Takejiro Sueyoshi and Mr. Rintaro Tamaki, and Mr. Hideki Takada as the Secretary General. As of September 2025, GFNJ has more than 600 members from over 200 different organisations, including government ministries, financial institutions, corporates, academics and many other sectors.
