Description
Ms. Leiskalne currently serves as an acting deputy director for research at the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia. Prior to the current role, she worked in the area of international collaboration in science at the ministry, having responsibility for engaging and strengthening collaborations with the science diaspora. Currently, Ms. Leiskalne oversees the implementation of State research funding programmes, the development of science for policy, as well as numerous initiatives and programs facilitating international research collaborations.
