Sergio Arzeni spent most of his professional career (33 years) at the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) in Paris, where for many years was Director of the Centre on Entrepreneurship, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), Local Development and Tourism and Head of the LEED Program on Local Economic and Employment Development. He is currently President of INSME – The International Network for SMEs, based in Rome, Italy. Before joining the OECD, he served as a policy analyst in the European Commission in Brussels first and then in the Italian Parliament and the Italian Trade Unions (CISL) in Rome.
