As past President and CEO of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) - the world's largest economic development membership organization – Jeff Finkle served as the CEO for 35 years and served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development prior to that. He currently serves as a consultant to the OECD and to the IEDC. Last notation Jeff is a graduate of the Ohio University. Jeff also led IEDC’s efforts to support communities in their economic recoveries after disasters, helped develop a guideline for ethical practices and helped grow the organization substantially during his tenure. He also served on national non-profit boards dealing with economic development and employment development and local economic development boards. He also founded the Bollinger Foundation that provides scholarships to children who have experienced the tragedy of losing a parent due to death. The uniqueness to this foundation is that it serves, the community, economic development and assisted housing community professionals.
