Diandra Ní Bhuachalla is a former student of Cork ETB Gaelcoláiste Choilm, and former chariperson of Comhairle na nÓg. She is an MSc International Public Policy & Diplomacy student at UCC, having graduated from UCC's LLB and BSc Government (Hons) degrees respectively. Diandra was the recipient of the 2022 Global Citizenship award from UCC, following on from her success as the 2020 Employability Star awardee. She is currently serving as United Nations Youth Delegate for Ireland, recently addressing participants at a UNDP event on youth perspectives for sustainable development, a UN Women event on Women, Peace & Security and the Humanitarian Action Compact, and an EU Delegation event on the role of youth in tackling poverty and hunger.
