Description
Ms. Katja Juvonen has been working since 2020 working on global policy engagement and strategic partnership development at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a multilateral development bank headquartered in Beijing, China. Between 2015-2019 Katja worked at the African Development Bank's (AfDB) headquarters’ in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, where she task led Bank's engagement on multilateral affairs, strategy development and corporate innovation initiatives. Prior to that she served as a Policy Officer within the Office of the President at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized UN agency and IFI headquartered in Rome. During her earlier career, Katja worked at the media platform Devex and ESADE Business School, where she managed Executive MBA programs. Katja has a Magister degree (M.A.) in Political Science from the University of Tübingen (Germany), as well as a post-graduate degree in Development Cooperation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain).
