Dr. Dao Thanh Huong, Ph.D. in Economics, is a distinguished expert in foreign investment and trade. She currently serves as Deputy Director General of the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance.
With over 20 years of experience working in the government advising and formulating foreign investment and trade policies, she has contributed significantly to the development of various laws and regulations, advancing Vietnam’s international economic integration process.
In her current role, she oversees strategic initiatives on FDI policy, investment promotion and the establishment of Viet Nam’s International Financial Center, aiming to enhance the country’s position as a competitive and sustainable investment destination. She has also played an active role in shaping national investment policies and regulatory frameworks to attract high-quality, responsible FDI aligned with Viet Nam’s sustainable development goals.
