Biography
Thomas holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Coventry University, United Kingdom. He brings over a decade of experience in data management and registration from his tenure with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), where he served across West and East Africa. Currently, Thomas serves as Programme Officer for Migration Data at the Directorate for Free Movement of Persons, Migrants and Tourism within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission. In this role, he leads efforts to strengthen coordination and collaboration on migration data management both within the ECOWAS Commission and among Member States. His work plays a pivotal in informing policy, supporting regional integration, and advancing the implementation of the ECOWAS Free Movement Protocol through evidence-based approaches.
