Biography
Saket Gokhale is a former foreign correspondent who reported from Europe, the Middle-East, and East Asia before returning to India in 2012. He has been a transparency & civil rights activist for over 7 years and was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) to the Upper House of India's Parliament, also known as the Rajya Sabha or Council of States, in July 2023. He is currently the 2nd-youngest MP in the Rajya Sabha and his work focuses primarily on government transparency, fiscal policy, free trade, civil rights, protection of federalism, and environmental sustainability.
