Important Information: Visas and Hotels

Please note that the OECD cannot organise a visa on your behalf. To find out if you need a visa:

No financial support is available for participants' travel to and stay in Paris. Once your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. This is the only confirmation that will be delivered to you to confirm your registration to participate at the event. Further correspondence, such as a formal letter of invitation, should be requested by email.
This information is provided for convenience only and does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by the OECD of the services of a particular hotel. The OECD has made no verification and makes no express or implied representation as to the quality or availability of the hotel services. We suggest that you verify the nature of the services, the applicable rates and any other relevant information directly with the hotel.
A client code is provided as it is sometimes required to benefit from the discount. Delegates and visitors may be asked to present an OECD invitation letter to the hotel desk.

Want to join the meeting? Have a question about the GPN?
How do I participate in a meeting?
If you are an active member of parliament, or a parliamentary official, and have written to us requesting to become a member of the Network and the request has already been validated by the team, you can attend our meetings. No journalists are accepted.

Will the OECD pay for my trip?
We are unable to cover any travel or accommodation costs and ask that participants take care of any travel arrangements themselves. Browse the list of hotels close to the OECD.

Which languages are interpreted during a meeting?
OECD provides interpretation in its official languages - English and French. For other languages: several delegations usually make arrangements for their interpreters in liaison with the OECD’s interpretation team. If you require interpretation into other languages, please contact parliamentarians@oecd.org.

Do you prepare a summary after each meeting?
We do not provide any public report. However, you will find the Speakers’ presentations available on that meeting's webpage, along with links to the OECD’s work on topics covered that day.

How do I cancel my attendance to a meeting?
If you are unable to participate, kindly write to us at parliamentarians@oecd.org. Please note that, as you will still be part of our parliamentary contact list, you will continue to receive invitations to our future meetings.
How do I register?
If you are an active member of parliament, or a parliamentary official, you can request to participate in the Plenary meeting by clicking on the link below. Please fill out all the required information, attach your photo and add a brief biography that will feature on the Global Parliamentary Network “Who’s who” webpage. We will confirm your participation as soon as possible.
If you would like to become a member of the Network, see the 'Membership' section.

I have not received my registration confirmation. What can I do?
Once you have registered, confirmation of your participation may take up to 3 working days. After this time, if you have not received anything, please kindly check your Spam folder first. If you cannot find the e-mail, please write to us

How do I register several participants?
If you are responsible for registering several parliamentarians, you can do so by using the registration link provided to Members for each meeting. Important to note: one unique e-mail address per participant is obligatory for security purposes. Each participant will then receive an individual confirmation once their participation has been accepted. If you are registering multiple participants, you will need to refresh your browser before opening the registration link for the next participant.
How do I become a member of the Network?
If you are an active member of parliament, or a parliamentary official, please write to us - using your official parliamentary email address - to express your interest in joining the Network. Once your request has been validated by the team, your name will be added to our contacts database which will confirm your membership. You will then automatically receive notifications of our upcoming meetings as long as you are still active in this post.

How can I share an initiative of my parliament with the OECD and/or with fellow members of the Network?
This is the very purpose of the Network, so contact us at parliamentarians@oecd.org.
