Biography
Lawyer, elected in Parliament since 2008 for three legislatures in the Chamber of Deputies and for one legislature in the Senate of the Republic.
Member of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, he was part of the following commissions in the Chamber of Deputies: the VI Commission (Finance), the XIV Commission (European Union Policies), the III Commission (Foreign and Community Affairs), the XIV Commission (European Union Policies), member of the Elections Board, member of the Parliamentary Committee for impeachment proceedings, of the Fifth Budget, Treasury and Planning Commission and of the Jurisdiction Council, he was part of the Provisional Elections Board.
From 7 October 2014 to 9 August 2023, he was President of the Jurisdiction Council of the Chamber of Deputies.
