Biography
Iaroslav Zhelezniak is the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.
He also co-chairs the Ukrainian Chapter of the Parliamentary Network of the World Bank and IMF and also the Group of Friends with the OECD.
He also co-chairs groups of interparliamentary relations with Japan, Australia and New Zealand,
Before 2019, Iaroslav served as an advisor on parliamentary relations to Prime Minister and to the minister of economic development and trade as a member of the Strategic Advisory Group on Reform Support in Ukraine (SAGSUR).
He particularly covered the work with the Parliament to ensure adoption of the bills on public procurement system, corporate governance in state-owned enterprises, medical reform, and deregulation.
