Biography
Mr. Okuno Soichiro has been elected five times to the House of Representatives (HR) of the National Diet of Japan and is a member of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan.
After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he worked until 2005 for the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (now Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications), where he was involved in the postal reform and privatization.
He currently serves as the Director of the HR Standing Committee on Budget.
