Description
Dr. Itamar Sivan is a quantum experimentalist and entrepreneur and the CEO and co-founder of Quantum Machines, an industry leader in quantum control. Prior to founding Quantum Machines, Dr. Sivan served as co-founder and managing director of Weizmann Institute’s entrepreneurship program.
After receiving his BSc and MSc in physics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, France, Dr. Sivan completed his PhD in Prof. Moty Heiblum’s lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel working on quantum electronics and microfabrication. Dr. Sivan published several works in peer-reviewed journals and received the John F. Kennedy Prize for academic excellence (2015).
