Takashi MICHIKATA is currently Director of the Office of the Director-General for Cybersecurity and in charge of international affairs regarding Cybersecurity in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan. Prior to joining the Office of the Director-General for Cybersecurity in April 2024, he has solid qualifications in information and communication technology (ICT) with over 20 years of experience in the public, academic and international sectors such as MIC, Japan, the University of Tokyo, and Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT).
