What's the GGSD Forum?
Bringing together policymakers, experts, civil society, and the private sector, the OECD Green Growth and Sustainable Development (GGSD) Forum is an annual event that explores cross-cutting issues at the nexus of environment and economic policy.
As the world looks ahead to COP30 in Belém, Brazil – expected to be the “Nature COP” – the 2025 Forum will focus on the role of forests and agriculture in climate change mitigation.
Check out all our sessionsThrough a high-level opening and five thematic sessions, the Forum will examine how improved forest management can boost carbon sequestration and protect natural capital, and how agriculture can reduce emissions, support biodiversity, and build resilience to environmental risks.
The programme will also explore data and measurement challenges, financing forest-based mitigation, and the links between forests and rural development.
