Description
Zaira Lanna has over 15 years of experience in policy development, stakeholder engagement strategies and risk monitoring. As a Strategy Director at Emerging Ag, Zaira works with a range of projects, mostly related to new technologies for ecosystem conservation and public health. In this capacity, she also works with the Outreach Network for Gene Drive Research, which aims to raise awareness of the value of gene drive research for the public good.
She holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics and Policy from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
