Description
MÁRCIO LUIZ DE FREITAS NAVES DE LIMA is Undersecretary for Foreign Investments of the Executive Secretariat of the Foreign Trade Board (SE-Camex) of the Ministry of Economy. He joined the federal public service in 1999 and has held the position of Director of the Department of International Negotiations at the former Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC). He was also a Special Advisor and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Executive Secretariat of CAMEX. Mr. Márcio Lima has worked in several multilateral negotiations (WTO and UNCTAD), in bilateral trade agreements (Mercosur-EU, Mercosur-SACU, Mercosur-India, Brazil-Mexico, etc.) and in several Mercosur bodies. He has worked in the investment area of SE-CAMEX since 2017. He is an agronomist and specialist in Foreign Trade, International Negotiations at FGV. He also holds a master's degree in Economic Development and International Trade from the University of Brasília (UnB).
