Sustainable and inclusive infrastructure also plays a pivotal role in addressing environmental challenges and responding to climate change. However, corruption in this vital sector poses a significant threat, hindering progress toward development, eroding public trust, and, in some cases, enabling serious human rights and environmental abuses.
