This meeting will focus on reinforcing the rule of law by fostering transparent, accountable, and people-centred mechanisms in the justice sector. It will address new challenges to its independence, integrity, transparency and accountability including the impact of mis- and dis-information and the complexities of digital technologies in shaping justice systems. Discussion will also seek to identify opportunities that strengthen participatory engagement to protect rights, make systems more open, and foster trust.
