Current pressures on democracy and the rule of law represent a threat to the fight against corruption. In this context, investigative journalism and media reporting are essential to raise public awareness and bring to light corruption. This session will explore how different public authorities, the media and civil society actors, with the support of international organisations, can work together to ensure a safer environment for investigative journalism and strengthen efforts to raise awareness and fight corruption and bribery.
